2025 Homework Centre Expression of Interest

Homework Centres are a State Government initiative where students attend after-school, supervised programs, to support learning, development and engagement in school, free of charge.

The Homework Centre program is intended to provide families with the option of supporting their child’s learning, through after-school supervision by teacher aides.

The Homework Centre program is designed to:

  • support students to develop good study habits and provide additional learning time for students with their peers;
  • support students’ learning, development and engagement in school;
  • forge strong and supportive links between home and school; and
  • ease the burden on students and parents by providing a supervised and supportive setting away from home to complete homework tasks.
